From St Anton we went to Zermatt Switzerland

The route to the top of the mountain was via this cog train.

We were fortunate to be there on the night of a full moon got to ride up to the Gornegrat to view and photograph the Matterhorn

We also had a view from the balcony of our hotel room 

Also got to ski right in the shadow of it 

Zermatt was a quaint town with lots of these little houses tucked in among the hotels and apartment buildings 

 These old buildings were up on stilts and some had live stock living under them
