Today - February 20th we finally got some snow.  I went to Solitude in the Cottonwood Canyons to snowshoe and get these Aspens and Fir trees in fresh snow.
This one I titled - Friends!  Looks to me like the trees are hugging

On our way home from Fish Lake we saw this tree glowing in the fading light and quickly pulled over
Check out the eagle in the tree.  There is a second one hiding in the other side of the tree
Then we were passing a state park just as the sun was setting and got these images

We are in Park City Utah now and this has been the warmest winter in like 12 years with the least amount of snow in 9 years!

Making it a bit of a challenge to get the shots I had been hoping for.

We made a trip to Fish Lake to shoot one of the largest Aspen Colonies with over 40,000 trunks.

Peter, Laura and Chris came out to visit us for my Birthday and we kept busy with lots of activities.
Though I thought a first we were going mud mobiling we managed to find snow at the top of the Mountain

While riding on the back of a snowmobile I was shooting as usual

You can see me reflected in Peter's helmet

We left Virginia in January and drove across country to Utah.

Here is a shot I took from the Car  Is the shadow of our car at sunset in Kansas
